Thoughts on the dating scene

Have you ever wondered why people so desperately want to find a compatible partner? Is it because we have an innate need to find a mate and reproduce? if that is true then why did god create gayboys? they clearly cannot reproduce with their mates... so why should we still feel that we need to find someone to share our lives with?

Is it true that we need to fill the empty void that only a compatible partner can fill? is there even an empty void that needs filling? and with choosing the appropriate partner are there rules to the dating scene?!!
